I get wake problems, but not all the time, usually i get the problem when it starts going to sleep and hibernate and i try to move the mouse to wake it b4 its finished, then it would lock, but only on occasions.

    Mostly it wakes fine.

I havent done a clean install since i got it, and have been installing and uninstalling all sorts of crap on it.
But if its working as good as it wos from new, i don't see any point to re-install from fresh.

Some people on this forum are mentioning this problem. Most of the time it has something to do with the video driver (you have to update it - www.laptopvideo2go.com). Do a search in this forum, and you will find the solution ;)

I think bigspin reported a problem with NFSMW with this driver. I used 162.18 for a while, and that worked fine with NFSMW. the 163.69 is the best one for all the rest :)

You don't need to reinstall driver again.
BTW not responding issue is common vista driver error .Search forum.I never got that msg.,but i can see shutter effect with this driver when i play NFS-MW

I has a similar problem, but with bsod upon wakeup. You can try this, Uninstall the driver, and use Drive Cleaner pro to clear to make sure you fully cleared the old drivers. Reboot, then do a install of the new drivers you want. It worked for me. Also uninstall rivatuner before all this if you have it. You can reinstall it afterwards. This worked for me, now the laptop wakes up from sleep perfectly.
