    Hello
    I have a 5920g w/ the current 8600m gt
I'd like to upgrade to 9600m gt. I've looked around and the card is a mxm-II so it should fit. But does anyone know if the 5920 bios will support the 9600m gt? is there any way to look at a bios file and see compatibility list?
    Anyone actually try this upgrade?
    Thanks

    If you go here:

    http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_5920.html

You can download the latest bios, within the bios zip file file are the release notes, whether or not it can tell you what gpu it supports i don't know. I was going to post the release notes but they are pretty big.
