    Hi Guys,

God willing, I will be buying my Acer 5930G soon. I had a couple of questions I was hoping you could answer:

    1) My processor is a P7350. I want to upgrade to P9400/P8600 in the future. Can I buy these processors in the open market and install it myself? Or do I have to send it to the Acer support office? Will my warranty become void?

    2) Can I use XP on the 5930G? Vista and I don't agree.

    Thanks a lot!!

Before you begin install XP, yuo need to integrate SATA drivers into XP installation files. This is described HERE. There are a lot of picture, but i reccomend you to read the text (Use Google Translate Service. It can translate whole pages)
