What is a good location to get all the vista 64 bit drivers for an Aspire 5735z?

While you are waiting for your drivers to download, check the C:\DRV folder on your hard drive. Some of your drivers will already be there.

When I download from there, using firefox, I pause and restart the downloads maybe 5-6 times and the speed seems to pick up.

When I've downloaded my driver from there, I've used "getright" and use to multiply the accelereted segment. It's really much faster than using your browser.

Well, that gave me 90% of my drivers I needed, but the grapgics and SMBus drivers were missing from there, so I went to Intels website, and got the latest graphics drivers, but I'm still searching for an SMBus driver.. I'll have to check out the DRV folder... oh, wait.. lol.. It just dawned on me.. that folder no longer exists on my system, since I've installed Vista Home Premium 64 bit... (the guides on here for the IBM's/Lenovo's will work on our systems too...)

I'll have to check out the restore DVD I made... but those are probably all 32 bit drivers, since that is what this system came with... (I'm upgrading to 4 gig ram, so I need the 64 bit OS)

The Inf Update Utility(SMBus or chipset driver) is all the same for all Windows version and both x32 and x64. You can get it from here.
