Just wondering if many are using the 64 bit XP or vista and what they think of it compared to the 32 bit. What would you recommend to run on a 64 bit processor?

Run the 32bit as many software don't support 64bit just yet. If it's a choice between xp and vista...then xp takes the lead.

Vista is a steaming turd, tho possibly marginally less-so in 64-bit.

Until you need it (eg DX10), stick with XP. Tried, tested, reliable, fast.

And as the above poster says, do you need 64-bit? If not stay with 32-bit for the time-being. It's only a reformat! :)

Thanks guys. Sort of what I was thinking but I thought things may have changed a bit, but I guess not.
