My HDD random freeze once in awhile, sometimes for 30second, sometimes even worst, more then 5minute, i wonder why? i already install the latest Intel® Matrix Storage Manager, but the problem seems won't out from my laptop. Is it my HDD problem? any 6920G's user facing the same problem? any help? :(

Izzit because you do my RMclock tweak?
Because a lot of people can't do my RMclock tweak and end-up system freeze.

oh wow, no that's interesting... could it be a HDD problem then? I've had to send in my computer to get a new hard drive because it disconnected while in use and that screwed the computer up... (seemingly it wasn't stuck in correctly) but if it's a HDD freeze you really should get it checked out/maybe test it out with another HDD.. & don't forget to backup your stuff!

It's probably a SATA driver problem/incompatibility, I've seen this problem before and it was precisely with 6920G. Let me see if I can find the solution, it was posted some time ago....

    Edit: Found it - http://www.paulscomputerservice.net/index.php?body=./os/intelSataError9.php

Keep in mind that I'm not completely sure you have the SATA problem and if you do I'm not sure if this "fix" will work for you.

Check those threads if you like, some other possible solutions have been suggested there:
