Am I the only one very disappointed with the contrast of the screen?

Is there any way I could get a replacement screen with a better contrast ratio?

Hi, i have 6920G with 1920x1080 screen. when i was choosing a laptop i lined up a 17" dell and hp and the screen on the acer was clearer than both and was the reason i bought it. demo blu-ray disc is great. what do you mean by contrast, compared to what? what model do you have and which drivers? you could take it back to shop and sit it next to another similar model.

The contrast on my old zepto was better.

The blacks just aren't black. Heck at the bottom they're light grey.

No Kittie. You chose it when you purchased the lappie. Sadly you must live with your sceen. BTW, there is nothing wrong with your screen...you must of compared it to something costing a heck of a lot more after your purchase.
