I don't know what happened but now when I tilt my display past a certain point, the screen display gets garbled. It does look like one of the joins at the back has come undone too, probably related. Must be a loose connection.
Best to send it back to Acer? It shipped with a faulty mic connection too to be honest.
What would be the best way of getting it back to Acer? I'm in Ireland I ordered it off laptopsdirect.ie. It's still a few months within warranty as far as I'm aware. I don't want to strain my neck too much so I will need to get it fixed soon enough.

Hi, laptops direct usual issue a load of manufacturers service phone numbers when you purchase the laptop. If not you could always ring their customer service number...

I found Acer's support, only I can't find the serial number for my laptop - the ink has been smudged off the sticker basically(I know ).
I enterred in the number I found on the battery... but that's probably just for the battery? though they did print it on the battery twice, so it might be important, and the battery might have a seperate one I didn't see or none at all. -
Hi, you using these numbers issued by laptopsdirect http://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc...?sc=2&sf=101133&documentid=336061&action=view Isn't the serial number in the acer empowering software?
