It takes 7-10 seconds for The Acer screen to show up after I press the power button on my laptop. Is this normal?

By Acer screen I mean the 1 that tells you F2 for this, F12 for that, etc.

    Uhm...I don't think so.
After 7-10 seconds, I'm usually seeing Vista boot-up.
Time to call Acer Support! :(

Umm it take me about 3 sec. After it boots up is your computer slow? If not I don't think there is nothing to worry about ;)

No. It's just that I recall when I first bought my laptop, to get to The Acer screen took like 2 seconds. The only major things I've done to my laptop were:

    - Install Vista Ultimate SP1 x86
    - Partition with Acronis Disk Director
