    6920g blu ray problem

    hi all

    im having trouble with my6920g blu ray. it will play old lu rays but when i try to watch avatar which is quite new it wont play. the drive picks it up but when i go to acer delux arcade it just hangs there with a blank screen

    please help it doing my head in now.

    Unfortunately there's not much that can be done.
    It could be solved by a firmware update- that is almost certainly not available or by replacing the drive.
    TehSuigi had the same issue and he got his BR replaced by Acer (but I guess his unit was covered by an extended warranty)

    Hi, it is Avatar that is the problem and Sony know about it, something to do with copy protection. I have the same issue in any of my laptops or PC's that have a Blu-Ray player in them. However it will play in both my Sony and Samsung stand alone players that I recently purchased.
