I've just purchased a 6930G from Acer direct and am thinking of changing the hard drive (250GB to 500GB) and doing a fresh install of Windows 7 (rather than upgrading).

I've heard there could be some driver issues for the blu-ray drive though as these aren't readily available. Has anyone else come across this and can you think of any other issues i may experience?

    Thx
    Matt

Hi Erik108, and welcome to the forums!
Blu-ray drivers don't need drivers - the necessary data Windows needs to use the drive is provided through the installation process.
You will need software to play Blu-rays however; that's not native in Windows 7 like DVD playback is. If you use Acer eRecovery to burn your Drivers & Applications disc ( and your recovery DVDs while you're at it), you should be able to install Acer Arcade Deluxe back on your system after the Windows 7 setup.
You may also need a graphics driver update, as Blu-rays will not play on any graphics driver that isn't WHQL-signed. The latest non-beta from Nvidia.com will work.
