Does anyone recommend a good place to get a replacement screen? I've been looking around ebay roughly £75-85 without delivery charges.

Also I was wondering what type of screen do I need I've been reading around on the net and there seems to be two main types CCFL with inverter or just some LED one.

One last thing would it be simple enough for me to replace the screen myself or should I go to a laptop repair shop and get it fixed.

Asked acer to fix it they wanna charge me £51 just to send my laptop in to analyse then charge ~£120 more for the actual repair so not going to them lol!

if i had the choice, i would go with the full-hd rgb led! aint seen one of these on ebay yet tho :(

it is a bit of a pain in the backside replacing the screen yourself, but do ensure you get the service manual if you choose to go the DIY route :)
