    Hello...
Already asked this question on another forum but as it seems there's a lot more activity here, I hope I don't offend anyone by asking the same question here, as I'm in quite a hurry.

So the problem is, the computer of mine, Acer Aspire 7520G, won't boot although it powers on and the fan start spinning. But I get nothing but a blank screen. HOWEVER, if I press HARD next to the touchpad, the laptop COULD start. Sometimes Windows loads, and sometimes I get a BSOD with a stop code. Once Windows has finished loading, everything seems to be working just fine.

So, what could be the source of the problem? I've already started stripping the laptop off of parts, with both HD cage and memory modules out, it behaves exactly the same. Should it at least emit some sort of error sound that something is missing??

    Any help much appreciated...
