I have searched and i cannot find an answer , the acer uk does not even show an 7530G only the 7530 , what is the G for?
Anyway does it come with GDDR2 or GDDR3
And it supposed to come with an integrated 9100m G , and you can switch between the 9600m GS in Vista , Is this correct and how about Win7
I know lots of question , +rep for useful answers.
Thankyou.

9600M GS have both DDR2 and DDR3 version. I can't sure Acer will give you which one. If DDR2, it would be lame because DDR2 performance weaker than DDR3.
9600M GS is a hybrid card.
G is stand for Gaming or Graphic Card for Acer laptops models.
Model without G means don't have dedicated GPU. -

I saw your signature, you have the 9600M GT which is better than 9600M GS. -

My mac might be going back, because of hdd noise and it freezes for 10-40 seconds a few times a day, and apple are doing squat about it.

Based on my impression of Acer cheapskates it is GDDR2.
By rights it is supposed to be switchable but the technology is not fully stable Microsoft said it themselves they do not encourage Vendors to push out hybrid systems, it will work but occasionally I see BSOD occur on hybrid systems if you enable hybrid in the BIOS. -
I had a harddisk failure detected last week.
There is a big red message box pop up telling me Windows detected Harddisk failure and to backup data immediately.
I had to buy a new Harddisk WD BEKT to replace it luckily it was failing not failed and it was out of warranty.
Freezing is a sign of disk failure in UNIX systems for me it occurred on Ubuntu. -
I had to decide between a replacement harddisk purchase BEVT or an upgrade BEKT
But the price difference is only 10 bucks (USD)
BEKT has a higher 7200 RPM, double the buffer cache and a 5 year warranty compared with 5400 RPM 8MB Cache and 3 year warranty, it make sense to go for the BEKT.
7530G 9600m GS GDDR2 or GDDR3 ?????
