This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     7720 dial up problem...

    I have problem with modem on my acer aspire 7720g....when I try to make dial up connection I have a message "windows could nor detect a dial up modem"...But, in device manager everything is ok...HPAUDIO soft data fax modem with smart pc driver is 7.66.0.50... when I use query modem command everything seems ok.... Do you have any suggestion?
    I have vista home SP1.....
