    Restore an earlier BIOS backup.

(Are you sure it says "Firewire GUID" and not "Firmware GUID"? The latter makes more sense in an EFI context.)

    Hi :)

    Yes Firewire GUID.

Under Win OS, i admit it's not really a problem.
But i use my 7720G (the 1st one) like a Hackintosh too.

An error occurs when loading Osx, and it's very annoying because if osx
can't find a valid Firewire GUID, Osx can't use Firewire port.

to see if it's really my firewire GUID and not Osx , i use RW everything Tools to read PCI register and the Ricoh 1394 I/O. i see the GUID is 0000000000000000.

I have no sufficient knowledge is X86 assembly language to locate the GUID
    into Bios.

Unfortunately, No. I use another Bios from a Dead Mobo.

But if you have some knowledge in bios mod or coding, i post on another forum where to find the GUID number when you use Andy SLiC bios Tools.

We can't speak about "special" stuff here, and i respect totally NetRoller decision

And for other Forum, it seems to be a problem too.

you can use Google and search : firewire guid bios mod

You can find a link with a post written by me.

    Hope it can help you.

    Regards,Ray.
