    Hi Guys,

Only recently discovered this great forum and subsequently that I can upgrade my awful 9300G to a 9600GT. Obviously I'm over the moon about this, I do have one or two questions though.

I have noticed in some cases a cut to the heatsink is required. Is there a ste-by-step guide to assist me in doing this, and is it really required? Are there any tools I would need to get for this job?

    This is the thread:

Unfortunately, it's not really expanded upon

I'm also planning on upgrading the processor, is there any record anyone successfully put in a T9500 in their 7720 yet?

I'd also just like to thank you guys for all the hard work and testing you have done. It is very much appreciated.

    Hi there,

I put the 9600m GT (1gb) into my brothers 7720G - there was no cutting required.
