    7738g Part Required (FFC Cable)

    Hi All,

    I have been searching for hours for a part for my 7738g laptop.

    I have recently ugraded the CPU and in the process I damaged the FFC Cable that connects the Power Board to the Motherboard.

    I have found the part number as being 50.4CD03.001 / 50.4CD03.011. The powerboard is 55.PCC01.006.

    Does anyone know where I can get this cable or an alternative one that will fit?

    Im pulling my hair out now :(

    You can find almost all the same parts listed on Ebay for the 7735

    On the 7738G the cable that connects the power port to the motherboard is part of the left hinge.

    Technically there are different part numbers depending on the model (95W, 120W etc) but at least the 95W and 120W are identical and it's just a different colour inside the plug.
