Anybody know how to get back the green icons that get displayed when you press the function keys for audio volume and turn on/off.

I'm also missing the bluetooth ones.

    Thanks

The OSD volume, bluetooth display is managed by some Acer software....Acer Launch Manager(I think). Try reinstalling it or if you have disabled it from running at startup, then you"ll need to enable it for it to work.

Thanks :) ..That was it. I had to re-install Launch Manager (from the recovery application) and all on screen green messages are back. :D

That would be the least thing I would worry about...the screen (which is the main way we interface with the computer) sucks out the ass. I returned mine since I use it for PhotoShop work and video editing. I am happy to report that buying via compusa.com there is NO restocking fee!!!

I bought Asus and I am now one happy camper!!

You got a dud. My screen is great - bright, flawless with no stuck/dead pixels, no light leak, etc. This Acer flies, and I couldn't be happier with it!
