I noticed when I got this laptop that the ATI CCC's text was chopped off at the bottom edge of some rows of text. The next driver download took care of that.

Now, I'm seeing the same thing in some of my software at work. A colleague and I opened the same document in this work-proprietary software, and some of the text was chopped off or missing on my screen, yet perfect on his. This also happens when my laptop is connected to an external display.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Is there a text size setting, or maybe I need to change the screen resolution to something lower? I can't do this part of my job until I figure this out.

Try, Display Properties / Settings / Advanced / DPI Settings >> Change to Normal Size (96 DPI).
