    Hi,

I did search first, but didnt find a topic regarding this. Sorry if its a duplicate.

The backlight on my 8920g keeps turning off, will come on for random time if press Fn+F6. Searched other forums seems to be common problem.

My question is, do i really need to separate the screen from the base just to take off the front bezel to get to the inverter??

    Thanks

Looking at the disassembly instructions, there seems to be 6 screws on the bottom of the bezel that may be tricky/impossible to reach without separating the screen unit from the base.

Around here going to the other end
