    Anyone seen files for this yet. Want to use it for my 8920 to enable the new wifi link cards since they have locked the bios.

    Bad idea !! Do not flash the 8930 BIOS onto your notebook, or the MoBo will be bricked.

    Andy is right about the BIOS... the 8930 uses an entirely different CHIPSET and motherboard, and by flashing an 8920 with the file for an 8930 you will lose all functionality of the laptop.

    ah I see. well perhaps I was hoping. Actually I want to install the Wifi link 5300 cards. ( I have 2 atheros cards that are worthless to me) and now I find acer stupidly locked the bios to either the 39abg and 49agn cards
