    Hello,
for which I have tried my 8930G able to make eimem BIOS Mod VT, it is crashed when flashing.
Then, only the fan was running and the laptop did not turn on. I have done a BIOS reset. This, unfortunately, nothing helped.
Here's a picture with the location of the BIOS battery.

OMG! A BAD FLASH OF BIOS.
Why do you try modded BIOS as it is not official?
Probably, you need to send your laptop to Acer for repair.

In the sticky thread there are 2 threads about BIOS recovery, I'd start there.

    Hello,
I tried the recovery for the Insyde BIOS already. It did not work. I have a problem when I Plug in power cable, the fan is running. I can not turn on the notebook. :(
Has anyone had this problem? If so, why this is and how I can solve this.

    Thanks and regards
    Elmar

    The Insyde BIOS should work.
The USB Thumbdrive should be FAT32/FAT16 formatted.
The BIOS filename should be close to the original BIOS name because the emergency recovery looks for the name.
You shouldn't flash the BIOS to enable VT when there is a easier way.

So, I formatted a USB stick with 1GB as FAT on Windows 7. I copied the bios on the stick and then I went counterweight to the instructions. But it has not happened. It is strange that when I plug the power cord, the fan immediately starts nor stops again even after 15min.
But now I read that one should not format the drive as a DOS Startdisk. Is there anything in there? And what other options are there to turn on VT??

    Thanks

Should format as FAT32 Bootable Thumbdrive.
    The alternative VT enabling method

I have make a FAT32 bootable Thumbdrive, but it is not working. The flashlight from the Thumbdrive make one short blink and then do nothing.
Must i change the Mainboard? Or is there any other way????

Try a different thumbdrive! Perhaps it helps, not all thumbdrives are bootable (although they should).
