    Hi all,
    i have the Aspire 8930G- 6058 from Staples
    but only has the "T5800 CPU" is it possible
    with my model to upgrade to say the P8600
    or higher CPU?

    8930G- 6058 comes with the 9600M GT
    512 GDDR3 and 4 GIG of DDR3 which iam
    more than happy with.



    Please help, thankyou most kind indeed...

    Yeah, your laptop should have GM/PM45( Get CPU-Z and verify that) so you should be able to upgrade to P8600. You probably can upgrade to even better CPU though BIOS limitations might exist.
