Hi all was just wondering if anyone has tried any form of Linux on this beast and how much it takes to get all the features working in it??
Was going to use the second hard drive for a second OS and since I am waiting on Proper Windows 7 driver support for it was going to try something else out.

really sorry to derail your thread but I can find hardly any info on this machine, can you please let me know the specs of the model and what your impressions are of it?

Acers website is really lacking in info, some models say 4670xt then a couple of lines later 4650 :(

I know the Vid card is a combo intel4 mobile (for green mode) and 4670m for gaming. Acer has not put specs up for this machine but if you go to support download drivers the manuals are there.

thanks for that mate. I had already checked the manual and it also is about as much use as a chocolate teapot! One thing I did notice from the manual it looks like you cant access the cpu from the bottom panel like you could with the 8930 :(

What speed cpu did you get? and what do you think of the keyboard?
