I'm not sure if the SKU has anything to it, but I have a question for 8940G owners.

Any of you changed the TIM on the CPU/GPU? I couldn't see quite clearly, but I think they use thermal pads for the NB and GPU RAM. What about CPU and GPU? Do they use pads too? I saw something that was quite thick, but look cracked up, so I thought maybe it's dried out paste.

OK. CPU and GPU uses thermal pads (short ver) :p? Oh and, what are the dimensions? Because I'm thinking of changing the TIM and maybe do a copper shim, but haven't opened up the heatsink, coz it'll be just a waste of time and TIM :(

    Thanks.

OK. I took the plunge and found out that only the NB chip uses thermal pad. CPU and GPU doesn't.
