    Just bought a i7-820QM CPU for this laptop to replace the i5-540M & was wondering if there are any guides available for the upgrade.

    If not has anyone done it & is it a simple job?

    If the other machines are anything to go by it will be simple but not quick.

    You will have to take apart the entire unit.
