Please understand that I am an educated idiot when it comes to computers. I think I know everything but in the end know nothing.
Examples of this are that I have deleted all the ACER software that came with my laptop and I have also played with msconfig files so that all those stupid things that start with start up do not start.
Problem is that everytime I start my computer I have to manually start the blueetooth and then search for my mouse and make a connection. Is this normal??
The little blue bluetooth light on my laptop is not on so I have to go to "Windows Mobility Centre" (VISTA) and search for device. At that stage the bluetooth is turned on and it searches for devices.
In MSCONFIG there is a bluetooth "thing" Bluetooth software 6.0.1.3500 and it is set to automatically start.
Can anyone help me here? I assume that a setting changed when i deleted the acer stuff and i do not know what that is.
Also I see that and have downloaded a new driver file 6.0.1.3600 but when I click on setup it says i have to uninstall the other software first. I have tried uninstalling the drivers but windows automatically reinstalls them before i can use this driver that i have downloaded.
Thank you in advance

Ok so my last email was too specific. I know at least that the 9520 series is not world wide. So forget it for now.
So how is this;
Do you have to manually start your bluetooth hardware every time you start your computer?
In your acer with bluetooth what is the program that automatically starts with windows vista?
How does this program start, (Start up folder) (msconfig) where?
