I just bought a 9650m gt card for my old 5920g laptop, since its old faulty card was broken. The card is asus branded, and i read someone else got it to work in this pc. Do i need to do a blind vbios upgrade, or something? And how do i do that, i honestly have no clue. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

    -Thanks in advance, andreas.

Just close this thread, seems like asus inverted their mxm pins. So its 120% incompatible now, sorry for the inconvenience. I will try to return it to the seller, but im not sure if he will accept it now that i unpacked it. But i can hope.

I was wondering how you managed to fit an ASUS 9650M GT into your machine; pretty sure that the 9650M GTs others are using are from another vendor - MSI, maybe? Check the Acer MXM thread to see. No need to close the thread, I'll just let it sit and die.
