    Hi.

my laptop has an DVI socket on the back, but no audio socket, except for headphoes on the front.

DVI does not carry audio does it.

So how do i output audio to my TV.

    thanks

    John.

You use the headphone socket on the front. That's the way everyone else outputs audio.

Yup, you'll either have to use your own speakers or if you have a receiver, use an S/PDIF pass through to the receiver.
