    Hi.

    I have an aspire 9920.

I was having problems with the wifi turning itself on an off.

So i diabled the acer wifi managment and now use vista`s

But i can only turn the wifi on and off by the button on the laptop front.

It will not activate when the laptop boots up.

I have checked the device driver and it is enabled in device manager, even when the wifi is off.

    can anybody help

    thanks

    John.

    I'm new to Vista too.
Try this. In Control Panel open Network and Sharing Center (Control Panel in Classic View). Then in the Network and Sharing Center click on Manage Network Connections on the left side menu. Locate your wireless Network Connection. Then point to it and right click it, then click on Status. Then click on the Wireless Properties button, then make sure theres a tick in
the box for Connect Automatically when in range.

Theres probably a quicker way to get to that final window, beats me! Good luck. Let us know if that helped.
