9920G will most likely not work with Quadro Fx770M (unless there is a proper modified vbios around that I don't know of)

For other laptop proper operation of Fx770M (as well as other 9600M series cards) you need properly modified drivers to make it stable, try these:
    32bit

    or
    http://yadi.sk/d/w0Pce8H94I_zO
    64bit
    http://yadi.sk/d/kZ5qD2jqLqG8V
You might also want a modified FX770M Vbios (basically Netrolllers suggestions on 9600M mods implement here):
    7A
    https://yadi.sk/d/hPBBlu1eeXaEi
    3B
    https://yadi.sk/d/eyR2pEWHeXaH7
Also a nice thing is to do is to lower all the voltages to 0.89v (not done in these), so you can do it yourself - heat will fall significantly, all the cards that I tested were stable at that voltage.

And by the way - I have a collection of modified Acer bioses (9920\4720\5520\5720\5920\6920\8920):

    Hi All,

not related to the above post, but i thought ppl might like to see my mod on my Acer 9920.

I recently purchased an 8600m gt card from MSI ms1719 gx700 laptop off ebay for £23. Cost me about £37 with postage from usa.
This card replaced my faulty card which had been oven baked by a previous owner.

I successfully applied the vbios to the card, as provided by the excellent ppl on this forum and now have a Brilliant working laptop.

I figured that the gpu chip needs to be kept as cool as possible... so came up with the idea of cutting a circle thru the bottom cover of laptop and attaching a usb powered fan to blow cool air onto the heatsink. Using cpuid hardware monitor pro. i have a temp of 48 degrees in normal use and about 67 when playing video's etc. without the fan, the temp soon shoots to 90 degrees plus.

Please see included pic and how i modified the heatsink from the purchased card

hope this is of interest to the forum,

    Best Regards,

    Colin

Geting bit of a head-ache over here. Bought a 9600m GT DDR3, installed it in my 9920G. With the original bios (62.94.1F.00.08) the laptop is booting up with static distorted colors, with an external screen there isn't a problem.
I have flashed .NetRolller 3D his edited bios and then the notebook won't give an image, only with an external screen.
I have used v2 and v3 system biosses.

I have compared (with a hex viewer) Netroller's vbios with the original MSI bios (62.94.3C.00.22) and it seems that only 3 values are edited.
Isn't it possible to edit these 3 values in the original acer bios?
I would do it myself if needed, need to know what to edit, then.
