    Hey,

I bought a acer aspire 5672 a few weeks ago. The first problem was that a had a messed up mainboard, so I got a new one.

Now I have a button that doesn't work, it's the volume button on the left the +, the - works perfectly! (I can live with that!)

Now the actually problem is that I find my computer is to slow!! I thought dual core is fast and good, but it seems that i have troubles with that.

I did a CLEAN winXPPRO format, installed all drivers (works perfect!). Now it seems that my computer runs 44 processes on startup . It uses 400 mb ram :(.

If I open internet explorer it takes 10 seconds to open, the same with messenger, outlook express, ...

Is this normal? What could I do??
This is a pic of my task manager --> http://users.pandora.be/traxy/proc.JPG

    Maybe somebody can help me?

You might want to run Spybot.
