    Hey guys--

    A few questions about the Acer TM 4504LMI:

    - Can someone who owns one of the 4500 series comment on the screen quality? How are the viewing angles?
    - Does the keyboard run hotter than most?

    Thanks in advance. The 4504LMI is attractive to me because it has a lot of HD space for the money. Primarily I'm looking for: nice screen, runs cool, good HD space. Dedicated video memory and bluetooth would be bonuses; they are not essential (nor is battery life). If anyone has a better Acer model in mind, feel free to fire your recommendations at me. :)

    I don't know about the 4500, but if the screen is the same of the 4000 series (probably it is) it sucks!
    Bad (BAD!!!!) vertical angle! Washed colors. Bad contrast.

    rjtd--thanks for the reply. I keep hearing different things about the screen quality of the 4500 series. It seems that people either love it or hate it. The sticky post of the 4500 review has the person saying he loves it, and in other threads I hear sentiments like yours. Hard to know what to believe.

    So maybe I should ask a general question: which Acer model has the best screen?

    I had a acer aspire 2012 and the screen was awesome!
    100 times better than the "marvelous" 4002 screen.
    That screen is on the 202X series.
    I would recomend you to go out and see for yourself the quality of the screen of those new Acer's. I personally don't like the angles, its slow response and contrast. But it is not a bad monitor. Just there are better ones for a little more money.
    btw: my 4002 as gone to the store because of the screen. now i'm trying to decide what to buy next
