Firstly, my laptop was advertised in Comet as having an 80GB HDD. However when I go on "my computer" I appear to have 2 drives, a c and a d, both with 32GB capacity.
Am I looking in the wring place or have I been scammed?
Also I am hoping to upgrade the memory from 1 gig to 2 gig. Is it better to have 1 2gig stick, or 2 2 gig sticks?

Somebody reply!!!!
Also I have another question, what's the cleanest way to remove all norton **** off my laptop? -
Try having some patience jjsearson. We're not always watching this board to solve problems, you know.
first. You'll probably have one HDD of 80 GB which is formatted in 2 parts. C and D (both with 32 GB of capacity) But those drives are part of one HDD. Knowing you have an Acer, I think the other GB's are hidden partitions. One for the Acer recovery partition and one for the Acer Arcade quicklaunch. (I think that those are the hidden partitions, because I'm also missing some GB's and that's because I didn't remove the Acer quicklaunch partition and the Acer recovery partition).
So you've not been scammed.
Second. It's definitely better to have 2 sticks of 2GB because you'll then have 4 GB of memory, which is a lot nowadays. But if you meant the difference between 2 sticks of 1 GB and 1 stick of 2 GB, I would say it wont make a difference. But I would take 1 stick of 2 GB because then you can upgrade to 4 GB in the future by just buying 1 extra stick of 2 GB (in stead of buying 2 sticks of 2 GB if you had 2 sticks of 1 GB)
Third. Norton is a pain in the ass if you want to remove it. I would say the cleanest way is reformatting your drive :-D Tha's what I did when I first got my Acer.
