Hello, I have Acer 6935 notebook and my question is is it healthy for battery to be plugged in AC all the time? If the indicator for the battery is green is the battery charging then or is it only charging when its orange?

the battery only charges when led is orange, also most wait until the charge level has dropped to 96-97% before they start charging again.

Heat is a battery biggest enemy, but if you remove it and there a power out, your notebook will crash, but you could use an external ups to get round this.

Thanks for your reply, so no harm can be done if the battery is connected to AC all the time, ofcourse I discharge it occasionally...

As i said heat is the battery`s biggest enemy and it will get warm/hot when i is installed in the notebook as the cpu and gpu and the rest all get hot.

Also do not discharge the battery unless you have to as this will only make it wear out quicker.
