I have an Acer A1 with an LG monitor as the main monitor. Not using the A1 screen at all. I have to set the aspect ratio (I think I'm using the right term, eh?) from reboot to reboot. It's always too large. Can't understand why it's always the same wrong one and I can't get the right one to stay. 1280x768, x960 and x1024 works. But it always comes on with a larger width. So I have to go to the top and catch the bottom of windows and drag them down.
Does any of you folks know the fix for this. A reg edit? Anything? Yes I click Apply every time that option is there.
Thanks! jack ":-D

What are we talking about here- it's not a notebooks is it?
If it isn't you'd be better off asking this question elsewhere. -
I made the best judgement I could. It's an Acer Aspire One Netbook. Where would you have me run off to? I didn't see anywhere else and I have asked questions here before for this same Acer A1 Netbook and got help several times in fact. So naturally I thought .... well I guess I thought wrong.
Apologies all around. There is a place here to ask for an Acer Aspire 1 Netbook? I'll git there lickity split. :hi2: -
I'm sorry- that is my bad. I just didn't remember there was a netbook like that- I thought it might be a desktop.
So it is the best place to ask after all -
A1 will not hold aspec ratio from boot to boot?
