On this laptop which I thought was pretty good, the keyboard, thumb pad and USB all went out at the same time. I can use a USB mouse on a fresh boot up and keyboard works when in safe mode and in setup, but not when Windows XP starts. I have tried to format and reinstall Windows XP with no results. Same problems. I even tried to install Windows 7 and it installed using the USB mouse but when it was time to reboot it hung up and you couldn't even turn it off using Power Button. I had tol et battery run down before it finally went off. Any suggestions.
