    ACER 5552 SA drivers needed to install win7

    done alt+f10 but recovery is mia or damaged

    cant reinstall windows as never finds the hdd.

    I cant find the sata drivers anywhere

    please help

    Why do you need SATA drivers?
    If HDD is not seen/detected by the BIOS it's dead- there's no driver needed.

    Also Win 7 has SATA drivers included (unlike XP) so you wouldn't need them anyway.

    the hard drive loads but current os is damaged and riddled with viruses.

    I just want to reinstall windows 7

    when I install it it doesn't detect any hard drive. maybe some sata drivers are included - mine definitely isnt
