    ACER 5680 Broadcom drivers installation help

    hi people i'm new to posting here.

    I've done a fresh install of WInXP pro on my 5680.

    Plain and simple:
    How do i install the Broadcom Ethernet drivers i've downloaded.

    Any help is appreciated

    Well if it's an .exe file, I'd just run it. If you've downloaded a zip file containing the drivers, unzip its contents to a folder, open device manager, right click the device (probably has a yellow question mark if you don't have drivers installed for it), update drivers, select Install from a specific list or location (Advanced), select Don't search, click Have Disk on the following screen, and then browse to the folder where you extracted the Broadcom drivers and select the inf file.
