Hey all im new around, but found this place off google

I picked up a backup notebook from office max,a nd im trying to figure out which 2gb modules will this system run for a total of 4gb

I bought a set of the 4gb (2x2gb) OCZ pc2 5400 and it will onl run one stick before it blue screens

    now I can run 3gb (with a single 1gb standard pc2 5300 stick and the ocz2gb stick)

    but not both

    any ideas?

    thanks

Weird. It should be work as MB supports up to 4 GB.

If is 32-bit OS installed, 4 GB is useless as it see only 3 GB ;).
