Hi Guys
Just been reloading my 8935, but keep getting windows requires a digitally signed driver for both the intel and hd4670 graphics , never had this problem before , so cant figure out why it's doing this now .
Running win7 64 bit, specs are T9600, 8gb ram 240gb sandisk extreme, hd4670 ati card
any ideas?
Thanks
Johnny

Check this out: http://windows7themes.net/en-us/windows-requires-a-digitally-signed-driver/
The simple way is to use Bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks ON command in command prompt (assuming it still works) -
Thanks buddy
I have tried that and all 3 of the drivers from the acer website, nothing worked so far -
This is weird. Drivers available on Acer website have to be signed.

Very weird indeed.
I have just swapped my HDD out of my other 8935 and put it in the one playing up , my 2nd one runs Vista 64 , it worked fine in the one playing up, even able to switch between graphics so its not a faulty ati card. -
been messing with the laptop today, manged to get the drivers loaded under Windows test mode etc using the link from downloads .. thanks
still have no idea why they wont load normally... any ideas? -
Ok .. it seems like the ATI still has a warning next to it in Device manger , so still not loading even in test mode .. any ideas? faulty card?
-
I doubt it's a faulty card. Did you try drivers straight from AMD?
-
No, not tried the amd drivers, tried those on my good 8935 and had nothing but trouble because of the switching graphics
ACER 8935 windows requires a digitally signed driver issue
