Hello everyone. I was wondering if someone knew for sure what the HD speed of the Acer Aspire 2025 is. It is not stated in the Acer website. Also, can someone confirm if the keyboard problem has definitely been fixed with this model?
Thank you.

Typically if the speed is not stated, then it is safe to assume it is 4200rpm. Most companies use that speed because most consumers do not know about hard drive speeds, and 4200rpm drives are cheaper. You could always upgrade it yourself to a 5400rpm or 7200rpm drive. The 7200rpm drives can be had for $150(40gig) and $215(60gig).

Hey Run1track, where can i get those 40bg 7200 drives???
thanks. -
I previously saw a Hitachi 40gig 7200rpm hard drive at www.newegg.com.
They also had the 60gig 7200rpm Hitachi drive for $220.
Now neither one of them is on the website.
You could call them and check.
Here is the 60gig 7200rpm drive from a different retailer:

Thanks man. I'm really attracted to the 2025, but the 4200rpm drive is killing it for me. It's good to know i have some options.
