I recently bought an ACER ASPIRE 5830TG TImelineX from Gurgaon (INDIA) having following config.

    Inter Core i5-2410M 2.3GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GT540M upto 2229MB TurboCache
    3GB DDR3 RAM
    500GB HDD

I purchased the notebook with a motive to use it with my ACER5360 projector through HDMI port to view movies (2d & 3D as 540M is 3d enabled).
But my projector & HDTV didn't detect any hdmi signal while connected to HDMI port of notebook.

I also played 3d SBS movies but not played in stereoscopic player & showed side-by-side (2 view) instead of a 3d view. I know that monitor of my notebook is not 3d enabled buy I can output the 3d video to ACER5360 projector which is 3d ready.

Kindly suggest any remedy for :
    1. How to get video from HDMI port?
    2. How to play 3d sbs movies for 3d oputput through HDMI port.

Did you reinstall the video drivers or are you using what came pre-installed?

I installed the newest video drivers downloaded directly from Intel & Nvidia, and I also cannot output over HDMI. If I restore OS from the recovery partition, HDMI output works.

    edit: I am using 3830TG.

NO , 1st I tried HDMI with pre-installed drivers. Then I updated driver of intel as HDMI port is connected to INTEL Hardware only (Not with NVIDIA) as I think.
Even after that I couldn't successful to see video over HDMI as my projector didn't detect any HDMI signal. Any other idea ??
