Hi, I wonder if it's possible to change ACER Aspire 1692WLMI monitor settings in order to increase refresh rate? Mine came with default 60 Hz refresh rate which is the only option and I'm curious to know whether there's something I can do to increase it?

    Thanks in advance.

Unlike CRT's in which the speed the electron beam is swept from the top to the bottom of the screen determines the rate, an LCD(active matrix) display uses an active element (TFT) to control each individual pixel and thus refresh rates are not really applicable to LCD screens. It is more or less a redundant function in LCD displays.
