I read in another post on this forum about people wanting to upgrade the CPU on the Aspire 5050. I have an AMD Turion 64 MK-38 (2.2Ghz) and I want to upgrade to a Turion X2 TL-60 (or higher if possible). What I would like to know is whether the 65 micron version of the TL-60 and higher CPU's is compatible with the Aspire 5050 motherboard. I have not been able to find any information about this online. Has anyone successfully upgraded from an MK-38 to a 65 micron (.065 nanometer) Turion X2?
