First of all, thank you to anyone who even reads this. I recently bought an ACER Aspire One D250-1042 at a Mom and Pop computer store as a cheap portable gaming computer. I first asked the guy behind the counter if it would run my favorite game well (Maple Story, recommended specs MapleStory - A Free Massively Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game, middle of page) and he said "yeah, no problem." Well, it really isn't what I would expect for a "no problem" laptop. First of all, Maple Story is a 2d Sidescrolling MMORPG. It is pretty light on graphics, and I can run it on a WinXP home computer with 1.5gb of Ram with no problem. Apparently, the extra RAM I paid for my ACER to max out doesn't help much. I have increased the Pagefile to max, and it helped a bit, but not alot. The game plays really jerky. I have never overclocked a computer before, but if I don't find some magic in this machine it might be my first.

I have access to Everest for my computer stats, but I don't know what format you guys prefer here so I will just wait for a reply in case I need to download whatever software you want me to post for stats.

However, I will give some basic stats:
Windows XP Home Service Pack 3
    Intel Atom 1.60gh
    2 (1.99) GB of RAM
    - as reported by the "General" tab of "System Properties"

Also, in before "you got gipped" or "should of done your research", because a) I know I got gipped, otherwise I wouldn't be on this forum right now and b) I haven't purchased a lot of new computers, I usually get old desktops from friends and frankenstein them into great computers. I just have 0 expertise with laptops and what a "good" netbook is.
