3 weeks ago, I bought a new ACER Aspire V3-471G. It was working perfectly until about a week ago, it started 'BSoD-ing'(blue screen of death) (3 times to be exact). I'm worried because it might cause me to lose papers, works and other stuff. Any idea how to fix this?

Oh yeah, I also have another problem. I'm currently playing RF online but the launcher won't detect my 2nd graphic card ( GeForce GT 640M) it only detects the intel hd 4000 one.

Could be overheating, bad memory or bad video drivers. Did you update the drivers before it started doing this?

Your software/BIOS does not allow you to choose which GPU you want to use?

I'm not sure, I have not manually updated anything, except utorrent and avast. How can I update the drivers?

I doubt that it's due to overheating because my room is usually air-conditioned, plus I also have a cooling pad, and my laptop doesn't feel hot (compared to when I am playing games on it.)

The Nvidia Settings program allows me to choose which gpu the game should run on but on the game launcher itself, it doesn't allow me to change it from intel hd 4000 to the GeForce GT 640M. I initially thought that it was just a visual bug, but the performance in game didn't change at all. I can run Crysis 2 on high settings so shouldn't rf work smoothly as well?

See Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer and check the reports around the time of the crash.
