    ACER FERRARI 4006WLMi - 100% CPU usage in every game! HELP!

    I notice that everytime I play a game on my new laptop the cpu usage is ALWAYS (even when I play "Icy Tower") at 100%! :mad:
    The new games would pause for about a second and then would play fine only to have it pause again every 3 seconds.
    I tried 5 different games, all with the same effect.

    I have all the latest drivers for my processor, motherbroad, sound card, video card, etc.
    I did a fresh install of windows XP (32 & 64 bit) and still the same problem.
    I have no idea what is wrong.
    Do games run at 100% on the AMD Turion64 processor?
    Are there any special things I need to do with this set up?
    If it is a problem, how do I get rid of the 100% cpu usage durning game play?

    I hear something about ACPI setup... :confused:
