I have a 2yr old Acer tower and here lately, the memory has been messing up. It doesnt matter what I download, it is not showing in the download folder. I called BB and they said that the memory is corrupt and needs to be replaced. I called another computer store and they said its a software issue. Which one is it? How do I find out which place is telling the truth.

    Thanks

vista has a built in memory tester

start > all programs >administrative tools > memory diagnostics tool

    hope this helps!!
